The Health and Early Years Programme area has full and part-time courses for those interested in the Health, Social Care or Child Care sectors.

We provide full-time courses aimed at those leaving school designed to equip them with the knowledge, understanding and skills to enter the caring sector or progress to higher education.

The Health & Early Years Programme Area also offer part-time courses for those wishing to return to work or who already work in the sector and want to achieve the necessary qualifications for professional development. Our courses are mainly based at the Delancy Campus and include:

Full Time

  • Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Health and Social Care
  • Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Child Care and Education
  • Level 2 BTEC Diploma in Health and Social Care

Part Time

  • Level 1 CACHE Award in and Introduction to Early Years Settings (QCF)
  • Level 1 BTEC Award in Health and Social Care
  • Level 2 CACHE Certificate for Children and Young People's Workforce
  • Level 3 CACHE Diploma for Children and Young People's Workforce
  • Level 3 BTEC Diplomas in Health and Social Care - Part-Time
  • Level 4/5 BTEC Higher National Certificate/Diploma in Advanced Practice Working with Children and Families Continuing Professional Development Sessions
