The Mathematics Workshop
The Mathematics Workshop allows you to:
- work on your own or as part of a group
- join at any time of the year
- work at your own pace
- choose your own attendance time
- get advice about your needs
- get support from your personal tutor
- attend as often as you wish to get extra help
- borrow a range of booklets and study aids for use in the workshop
The Guernsey College Mathematics Programme Workshop is experienced in the delivery of flexible open learning mathematics
Courses
The Mathematics Workshop offers a wide variety of flexible courses and options including:
- GCSE mathematics (AQA modular)
- A-Level and AS-Level mathematics
- Adult numeracy courses (entry level and levels 1 & 2)
- Key skills application of numbers
- Back-up for all professional qualifications
- Help for post 16 school students
- Help for students of all ages and abilities who wish to improve their mathematical skills without working towards a specific examination.
The Facilities of the Mathematics Workshop are available to everyone
Opening times
The Mathematics Workshop is open at the following times:
| Monday | 9.00am - 5.00pm |
| Tuesday | 9.00am - 5.00pm and
7.00pm - 9.00pm |
| Wednesday | 9.00am - 5.00pm |
| Thursday | 9.00am - 5.00pm and 7.00pm - 9.00pm |
| Friday | 10.00am - 3.00pm |
During these times the workshop tutors are always available to discuss, advise and help you with your choice of study programme.
