BTEC Courses in Performing Arts

"All the worlds' a stage"
William Shakespeare

The BTEC Performing Arts courses are aimed at students who enjoy the practical aspects of performance.

Alongside studying key skills like voice, movement, dance, improvisation and acting techniques, you will also be developing a range of creative and transferable skills like team work, communication, confidence and self reflection that will serve you in all aspects of your later life.

If you are interested in the technical side of Theatre and are looking for a course that will introduce you to all aspects of backstage work like lighting, sound, and stage management then please also have a look at our BEC National Award in Production Arts

All of our Level 3 courses are A-Level equivalent and attract UCAS points. Our courses are an ideal preparation for a career in Performing or further study at University or Drama School.

You will be taught by a team of accomplished lecturers with extensive professional experience in the Performing Arts. Lessons are delivered through a combination of practical workshops, seminars, rehearsals and performances.

The course is about developing the skills, knowledge and understanding essential to becoming a successful performer. The course places a strong emphasis on self-reflection and taking responsibility for your own learning.

Past students have gone on to study further at LIPA, East 15 and various universities in the UK
