Annual Progression Event

We will be holding our annual Progression Event on Monday 13 February 2017, from 5.30pm – 8.00pm, in the Hall at Les Ozouets Campus.

The event is open to the College’s own students and parents/guardians who in September may be progressing onto another course, onto another level of study, or into the workplace or to university. We also look forward to welcoming Year 11 students from Bailiwick schools and parents/guardians, who are considering their options after taking their GCSEs, and Year 12s or 13s who decide that a vocational course at Guernsey College of Further Education is the logical next step for them.

Programme Leaders and staff from each Faculty will be on hand to explain about the various courses on offer in their specific areas of study, together with staff from Education Services who will be able to answer questions about grants, and the Careers Service for information and guidance.

There will also be a number of presentations:

5.30pm and again at 6.45pm
Welcome and introduction to the courses on offer – Louise Misselke, Principal
5.40pm and again at 6.55pm
University life – Matt Sawbridge, Learner Support Services Manager
5.50pm and again at 7.05pm
Getting your first job – Claire Martel, HR Adviser, Blue Diamond Group
