The Vehicle Maintenance and Repair course is an Institute of the Motor Industry Level 2/3 Diploma course, the duration of which 4 years.

The Motor Vehicle Engineering course covers a broad scope of skills for all road vehicle types, with apprentices from both commercial, public sector and private garages.

The day-release course is comprised of a number of units, including a number of those relevant to general engineering.

Supporting Job Roles in the Automotive Environment.

Materials, Fabrication, Tools and Measuring Devices used in the Automotive Environment.

Light Vehicle Engine Mechanical, Lubrication and Cooling System Units and Components.

Removing and Replacing Light Vehicle Electrical Units and Components.
