Plumbing Lecturer (part-time)

We are looking for a part-time plumbing lecturer  to deliver a wide range of plumbing qualifications, including apprenticeship, and 14-16 schools partnership provision.

Working with the Programme Leader and the wider team, the successful candidate will plan, provide and monitor high quality teaching and assessment of students’ work and will also provide support and guidance in preparing students for further/higher education, training or employment.

Business & Finance Lecturer 

We are looking for a Lecturer in Business & Finance to join our team.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and enthusiastic lecturer to inspire our learners to achieve their full potential.

They will take up an important role in delivering a wide range of business and finance courses in the college, teaching all levels from level 1 up to level 5, mainly to full-time BTEC business studies students and day release/evening adult learners studying for Business, Management and Financial qualifications.

Maths Lecturer 

We  are looking to recruit a  Maths Lecturer to join us as part of the Covid Recovery Team on a two-year fixed term contract.

The English and Maths programme area delivers discrete courses from Entry Level to Level 2 for full-time, part-time and apprenticeship students and forms part of the Student Support Services area. We require applicants with the desire and drive to help students overcome the negative effects that Covid had on their education and be part of a very supportive and forward thinking organisation.

Engineering Lecturer 

We are looking for a Lecturer in Engineering to join us.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and innovative lecturer is required to take an important role in the delivery of full time, part time and apprenticeship courses in Engineering. The position will require the delivery of both practical workshop and theoretical curriculum from Levels 1 to 5 (Higher Education).

The lecturer will also provide support and guidance in preparing students for further/higher education, training or employment. The lecturer will have an outward facing approach to engaging students in the wider community, and vice versa, to ensure that they gain a vocationally relevant and enriching experience. The postholder will report to the Programme Leader, but will work with a range of colleagues across a number of areas in the College so will be used to dealing with multiple priorities.

Early Years Lecturer (part-time)

The States of Guernsey are looking to recruit an Early Years Lecturer to join the team at the College of Further Education.

An enthusiastic and innovative lecturer is required to take an important role in the delivery of full time and part time courses in Early Years. Currently the provision uses predominantly CACHE qualifications, across Levels 1 to 3 but also a small number of OCR and BTEC courses. 

The lecturer will also provide support and guidance in preparing students for further/higher education, training or employment. The successful will have an outward facing approach to engaging learners in the wider community and vice versa to ensure that learners gain a vocationally relevant and enriching experience.
