We held our very own 'Dragons' Den' style event yesterday with our Level 3 second year Sports students who pitched ideas for new sports products to a panel of judges. Ideas included an app to analyse sport performance, an activity tracker watch, home gym equipment made from recycled materials - and much more. 🏀🏋📱
Congratulations to presenter of the day Macy Drillot who received the trophy and £100 from Startup Guernsey and to the winning team POWA - Alfred Hollowell, Callan Loveridge, Ella Podger and Oscar Leadbeater who were presented with an award and £100 from SPF Private Clients
Thanks to our 'formidable' dragons for giving up their time to make this event possible.

We are very proud of our HSC student Charlotte - the States' student winter champion. Read her story via the link below. A great story for Good Care month which celebrates those working in the adult care sector. #GoodCareMonth#GoodcareWe’d like you to meet the lovely Charlotte Long – our student Winter Champion ✨
Charlotte is a Health and Social Care student who is currently at the Guernsey College of Further Education after a ‘virtual’ transition period during Guernsey’s lockdown.
She felt that the combination of her studies and being a people person would perfectly place her to champion all of the key Public Health advice 💪
“I think it’s important to remember that we are in such a lucky situation compared to other places in the world right now but also that it’s not over we should still be keeping up with good hygiene and offering each other the help they may need whilst self-isolating or shielding.”
